Runners riding the buses need to be at Mitchell Distributing (1200 US 82, Leland MS 38756) by 5:00 a.m.

Buses are leaving Mitchell Distributing at 5:15 am. Please be on time.
Will it be hot?
YES! It is the Hotter than Hades race for a reason, and you are running in the Mississippi Delta in June.
So it is going to be hot...Will there be water stops?
YES! And they are the best water stops ever. We are not kidding. Just check out comments on our Facebook page from last year. Energy gels are on the course, cold towels and misting fans are positioned throughout the course. Water stops will be at Mile 2,4,6,8,10 and 12.
Tech t-shirt or cotton t-shirt?
Tech t-shirt for the half marathon runners, and a cotton t-shirt for the relay runners. Shirts are available in S-XXL (we have women's and men's shirts). T-shirts will not be mailed to runners.
Is this race a fundraiser?
YES! St. John's Episcopal Church in Leland is hosting the event, and we are raising money for the special session at Camp Bratton Green.
Is there a finisher's award?
Of course! And you will be extremely proud to wear this medal. Campers from Camp Bratton Green are creating our medal. Pictures will be available one week before the race.
Is there an awards ceremony?
Yes. The awards ceremony will be held at Mitchell Distributing after everyone had completed the race.
Who is timing the race?
The Delta Stryders Running Club will provide the race timing. Chip timing is NOT available. Results will be posted online after the race.
